Venue

We are delighted to be hosting our 2024 International Symposium at the University of Cambridge, the world's third-oldest university in continuous operation and a world renowned centre of learning an innovation. Cambridge is only around 45 minutes by rail from London King’s Cross and a little over an hour away from London Liverpool Street. The city is also easy to reach, by car, via the M11.

Cambridge is a historic city located around 50 miles north of London renowned not only for its prestigious university, but for its museums, gallery and thriving arts scene. The city's history dates back to Roman times, with evidence of settlements as early as the first century. It gained prominence in the medieval period. The University of Cambridge, established in 1209, is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the world. It has produced numerous notable alumni, including scientists, writers, and political leaders. The city is famous for its beautiful college buildings, including King’s College Chapel, Trinity College, and St. John’s College, each with its own unique architectural style and history. The River Cam provides picturesque scenes and is a popular spot for punting, a traditional boating activity.

The symposium will be hosted at one of the university's many colleges, in comfortable, modern surroundings. Lunch and refreshments are included and will be provided to all attendees.

In consideration of the duty of care we have for the now-adult children who will be speaking at the symposium, we believe it is our responsibility to afford them the highest degree of privacy. With this in mind, we will not be advertising the precise location of this event. Instead, holders of in-person tickets will have details sent to them directly, ahead of the symposium. We trust that you will understand why we have taken this decision.
